Meet Dr. Hazha Ibrahim
Dr. Hazha Ibrahim is a board-certified pediatric dentist specializing in the prevention and dental treatment for children of all ages. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology in 2011, and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2015 from the University of Colorado. Dr. Ibrahim then worked as a general dentist for two years before advancing her education in pediatric dental medicine at the University of Washington and Seattle Children’s Hospital where she also earned a Master’s Degree in Dentistry. Her research while in residency, focused on evaluating sedation modalities for treating children, has been published in the Journal of Dentistry for Children.
Dr. Ibrahim has a passion for helping children and enjoys volunteering in her spare time. She has participated in TeamSmile, Colorado Mission of Mercy, Give Kids A Smile Day, and a mission trip to a remote clinic in Coatepeque, Guatemala where she treated local children without access to dental care. Dr. Ibrahim believes children have unique needs, and she treats her patients as such. She strongly believes in delivering high-quality dental care that is tailored to each child and family’s needs in a gentle yet effective manner. She has wide-ranging experience in coordinating interdisciplinary dental care and has been trained in treating children with medically complex backgrounds. Dr. Ibrahim has privileges at Children’s Hospital Colorado where she can treat children under general anesthesia.
When not at work, Dr. Ibrahim loves spending time with her family and her husband, Garrett. They enjoy traveling, golfing, biking, trying new restaurants, and spending time on the lake in northern Michigan.
Dr. Ibrahim is a lifelong learner participating in many continuing education courses throughout the year, and is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Her professional memberships include the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, Metro Denver Dental Society, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and Colorado Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
